Book-Marketing Tip of the Day – April 20, 2020
Yo-Yo-Ma was by age 30 regarded as one of the world's finest classical cellists. He has since branched out, and in an interview in the Harvard Business Review he was asked, "Why do you take so many risks?" He answered, "All great music is the result of invention. There's risk involved, but you welcome it." I think the same applies to selling books to non-bookstore buyers.
